NPAa's POSITION ON THE VOICE REFERENDUM:
WE DON'T HAVE ONE

Isn’t that a breath of fresh air?

We’re a Union for Nurses that doesn’t:

1. Tell members how to think

2. Tell members how to vote

3. Spend member’s money on 1 or 2

We do:

1. The best PI Insurance for Nurses

2. Workplace & Legal Protection

3. Consultative Case Management

4. Excellent Member Support & Services

As members, you control the union, we don’t control you.

Imagine being a Nurse voting No, and they use your money to promote the opposite. Or vice versa. It’s just disrespectful.

HAVE YOU seen vote yes propaganda in the workplace?

We have heard reports of ANMF posters in the workplace arguing the “yes” case. This is bad in a private workplace, but in a public workplace, like QLD Health it could be a breach of the Public Sector Code of Conduct.

If you have any evidence of resources being inappropriately used to promote one side over the other in this political issue - please let us know. We intend to take action.

Staff have a right to expect their workplaces to be impartial and free from coercion.
