AHPRA Registration Fees for 2026-27
The Nursing and Midwifery Board registration fee has increased by 4.25% for the 2026–27 registration period.
General registration: $193
Non-practising registration: $39
Avoid Portal Problems: Log In Early
We recommend checking access well before the deadline.
Before you renew, verify:
✅ Your AHPRA portal username and password still work
✅ Your authenticator app is still linked to your account
✅ Your mobile number on file is current
You may need to re-link your device if:
- You've changed phone numbers
- You've replaced your phone
- You deleted your authenticator app within the last 12 months
- You reset your device settings
If this applies to you, sort it out before the deadline.
Locked out? Call AHPRA early. If something isn't working, don't wait. Call AHPRA Customer Service on 1300 419 495 (preferably well before the June 5 deadline).
Professional Indemnity Insurance (PII)
Under national law, you must not practise without appropriate PII cover.
- NPAA members have valid PII as part of their membership
- You can download your Certificate of Currency through your NPAA dashboard
