Time: 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM AEST
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
Use a structured, evidence-informed self-assessment tool (Mini Wheel of Life) to identify areas of personal and professional imbalance.
Recognise early indicators of burnout across seven key wellbeing domains relevant to nursing practice.
Reflect on how unmet needs in one or more domains (e.g. sleep, nutrition, passion, career goals) can impact safety, performance, and emotional regulation in practice.
Begin building a personalised self-care plan that integrates into demanding shiftwork and supports sustainable clinical performance.
Identify next-step supports (including peer-based and expert-led resources) to continue their CPD and wellbeing journey.
The NMBA requires nurses to maintain competence through self-awareness, critical thinking, and safe, sustainable practice.
This webinar supports nurses in understanding how lifestyle and mindset factors, often dismissed as “personal”
directly influence patient care, safety, and long-term performance.
